The course is being delivered under Skillnet Ireland’s enterprise-led ReBound initiative . It is one of a series of ReBound programmes which Shannon Chamber will deliver to guide SME Owners and Managers in the MANUFACTURING AND AVIATION sectors in implementing the ‘Return to Work Safely’ Protocol.

The course will comprise:

  • An overview on Infection control including acquired Infections causes and occurrences.
  • Infection Prevention and Control measures you need to stay safe.
  • Protection for those who might be vulnerable to acquiring an infection.
  • Discussion on HSE and all internal policies and procedures for Covid-19 infection.
  • Hand Hygiene including how to wash hands in line with the HSE Guidelines.
  • Correct techniques and when to use Alcohol Hand Gels.
  • Case studies/Risk assessments for offices, kitchens, dining rooms, bedrooms, washrooms, stores and other areas.
  • Waste Management and Decontamination issues.
  • Personal Protection including the types of protective equipment available to use
